Information for Schools and Community Groups

Could your school or centre make use of a brand new “CUBE’ design marquee?

This competition is a great opportunity to integrate a competition into classroom or centre activity.

The age categories are three to six years, seven to ten years and eleven to 13 years and budding young artists are invited to draw, paint and creatively show on paper what their home means to them.

The major winner in each category nationally wins a marquee worth $3000 for their school or centre plus a $2000 individual cash prize for the artist. There are also 24 packs from Scholastic Australia valued at $200 each for the winners of the People’s Choice Awards, and a special Mr Hooker Bear Award of art supplies worth $200.

All you need to do is collect entry forms from your local LJ Hooker office download from www.drawmyhouse.com.au. This website also features past winners, this year’s entries and all the information parents need.

Your local office can also provide your with articles for your school newsletter and proven PR releases you can submit to your local paper.

Each child’s artwork plus entry form will need to be submitted to your local LJ Hooker office by 31 July – or we may even be able to send Mr Hooker Bear along to collect them.

All the entries will be displayed on drawmyhouse.com.au for People’s Choice Award voting.

A judging panel will then determine the major prizewinners from across Australia, with an announcement on 14 September.
